Airbags are back in. Just unscrewed them from the dashboard and unpkugged for a dashboard removal so I presume thats triggered them. Where do I go for a diagnostic? And how much? As ive seen the equipment go for thousands on ebay and I dont have that kinda cash lying8ng around. Lol

Found out the previous owner just unplugged the wire. My abs seems to work fine? No locking up on hard braking. Air bags have been removed but not for the reason being to do with them (dashboard removal) Any ideas?? Thanks peeps

So the replacement part won't work? -
Sorry if been up. Before but I couldn't find any info. I had maf sensor with the 3mm wide plastic strips running on where the sensor is. That's broke. So brought a new maf. This one's with the 2 wires. Question is; 1. Will if physically fit into the same spot? 2. Will it work the same? Kind regards all.

Every reason to believe they would. If they are anything like you me or anyone here they'd at least just "know" something not right. Though if sold as seen. There is literally no hope in getting money back or refund, unless you paid by credit card or PayPal. Then you can. Contact your card issuer about it and they can intervine -
Saw the post about the underside of your car needing the bungs welding. One has already been done by a previous owner. Hideously, looks like liquid metal bucket got knocked over the i side or pan, then melted the sound sponge on it. And accessed it via just cutting the carpet, (badly). Solved the problem though. I can't solder(spelling?) but I've sealed another one myself via special silicone Glue and some coats over the inside and outside also. Quick question, did the golf's get a thick black underseal applied when built, as I believe mine might Have been by the look of it, just not

Saw the Jettas interior, all leather and in good nick. Anyone know if a Jettas interior can fit in a VR6?? -
I don't think the dealer really looked. Just saw a big handful of plastic parts and sighed then said "jus his a couple quid for it all" bargain! I was looking for one on eBay but were £25 to £30. *shudders*

Yeah you weren't lying haha. Tiny little niggling amounts in lots of places.... Grrrrr

Hey sorry for the late reply. There not leaking at all are they? Went scrapyard where they have 4 vr6's and a couple jettas and not one had a pipe where It hadn't been leaking. Was totally gutted. -
Just got the special spark plug tool, sideslip end, 5 door pins and 4 centre Console inserts for a staggering £2. Was flubbing chuffed When i saw the spark plug tool... £30 on eBay alone. Just wanted to share the excitement haha.

Yeah... oops

Found the culprit...luckily very early. No rust!! Remove all layers, and rubber. Filled with silicon in the lid so its full upon reinsertion. Then layered lots of silicon either side. As I do not have welding skills I made do. And I think its worked!
