  1. I'll just tell the Mrs to turn the radio up lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks I'll look for these then. Was thinking the dual mass would not take the power. Not to worried about the chatter on idle so long as it's not crazy loud. thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi folks I have a v6 4motion bde engine. The clutch has started to slip so looking for a new one. My local parts supplier says it's fitted with a duel mass flywheel. I am planning to turbo it next year so.... Question one, Should I fit a new standard dmf or will I be safer with a single mass one (if available) or is there a updated one available??? Question two, What's the best place to get a clutch from looked at a stage 3 black diamond on eBay for just a tad over £500. Is it worth it? And finally, if I go stage 3 what will the drive be like. My girlfriend has to take the kids to school ec
  4. No never driven one mate. Prob the only time it will get used to it's full is when I go to santa pod with it. Just want to see the look on some jumped up little kids face in his dads m3 or whatever when I pull up along side him and I leave him standing in my 12 year old standard looking golf!! Lol. thinking fit a kit then wind it up until I blow it up then in the mean time start building a second engine in the garage ready to swap it out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looks like my shopping list is growing then lol. This is defo going to happen in stages. Looking a good £1500 worth of pistons rods and bolts!!! Will be worth it though!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So what would be needed if I wanted to go past that? Was thinking 450bhp with a 100 shot of nos. My plan it to start with a engine that requires a rebuild any way and work on that a bit at a time as funds become a available. Over the next12/18 months then one day swap out the standard engine for my fully peppered turbo engine obviously then some finishing to connect bits up and a re-map on the rollers. 7. Yer 400 to 450bhp would be nice to aim for. What sort of power will the standard bottom end take? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi I am planning to do the same to my v6 4motion was wondering what sort of power is possible out of these engines and how much ££££ I can expect to spend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yer the typhoon has a plastic panel that keeps it away from the engine heat. Thought that was a good idea as there is not a lot of room under there lol. The BMC one looks good was just wondering where to put the pick up pipe though. Don't want to cut a big hole in the bumper and might sound stupid but what happens if it sucks up water from spray off lorries ect in the wet??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi I have a golf v6 4motion. I have been looking at some induction kits was wondering what's the difference between the 57i kit and the typhoon?? There is a big difference in price!!! Are they worth it?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
