Hi guys I'm currently running the Brembo 4 pots from a Cupra with 323mm discs and looking for a upgrade. Does anyone know of a Porsche caliper that will fit under 17" wheels and what size disc I can run with it? Cheers -

Been a while since I was last on here. I had lost motivation on working on the car. Basically wrecked 3rd gear on the way down to Worthersee earlier on in the year. Fortunately made it back home and the car has been parked up untouched ever since. Saturday night I was watching some vids on YouTube and I thought about how much I miss the car so woke up Sunday morning got some tools together and headed over to my mums house where the car has been left all this time. The plan is to get the engine and gearbox out. Strip down the engine and replace any bits that need to be replaced and get the gear

Epytec are quite well known for parts mate. I've used them a few times. I've got their reinforced clutch fork on my car. Also got their mk1 golf 1.8t mounts for my mk1.

Wanting to upgrade my radiator as my fan housing is catching my throttle body so will be getting some slimline fans and will upgrade the radiator at the same time. Any recommendations on radiators? I have seen the mishimoto one and another on that vw parts international do. Has anyone tried any of these? Thanks

Quick pic of how she's looking at the moment. Pic taken in Worthersee, Austria last week. Decided to go back to a standard front bumper, swage line smoothed and had the slats at the bottom taken out otherwise they were hitting against the intercooler. Smoked fog lights put in and the insides of the headlights were tinted by me at home. Genuine phase 1 vento grill put on as I was getting tired of having to pop the aftermarket grill back in after every drive because of the poor fitment. Bootlid has been smoothed also. Had a similar issue to mine and when we tested the cables there was no power coming from the ignition live to the stereo. So ended up running a new ignition live to the stereo. Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk

Last post I can see from you is the one where you said about testing out your Rockford. I'm glad my one isn't bolted in. Need to take it out soon to get at the indicator bulbs to paint them green as I've got red flashing indicators at the moment because of my all red rears. Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk

I was looking at the Rockford too. Chose the Alpine one as it had the highest power output and I wanted to keep the big amp I've got in the back and turn it down a bit rather than buying a new one. Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk

The majority of the boot build came out the 8v but my mate had to chop and change because of my amps and methanol kit mounted to the backs of the seats. Also the sub box on the side has just been bought aswell. Going to miss the 15" L7 kicker I used to have in the back. Downsizing to a 8" sub 😕 Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk
