    Not yet couldn't start it as my mates garage where we were going to be doing the work his electric door packed up. So I've spent the last 2 days clearing out my lock up garage. Will be starting on the car tonight. Space is very tight but atleast we will be safe from the rain and cold. Also had to order some rechargeable lights as there is no electric in there

    Does anyone know how I would be able to tell which bar/psi spring is fitted in the wastegate? I bought a used Turbonetics one and I'm unsure.

    I was going to keep this topic updated with the progress so that when someone else searches for the same thing "where to get my turbo setup fitted" they'll see this topic and maybe try it themselves as I am doing.

    Great result! Just logged into my other ebay account to order the manual and forgot I was watching one for sale for £43.48 inc delivery! The guy had not put Bentley in the title of it hence probably why it was on for sale for so long. I do love ebay sometimes

    I was deciding between the Bentley and the Russek and ended up buying the Russek. I'm sure I've got all the information I need at the moment. Will spend this weekend printing off all the good guides off the forum.

    The difference between me and you guys is I've never done any mechanical work on a car ever!! Mates have done a bit but we will mainly be following guides online and I bought a russek vr6 engine manual which seems pretty good. Wish me luck boys im going into the deep end. If it goes tits up plan b is to get the spare engine I've got and get it properly done by a someone that knows what they are doing. But touch wood it won't come to that. In need of a cam tool anyone selling one or should I just order one off ebay they are around £12.

    Was speaking to the boys that will be helping me with this and i have decided to get started on Monday as I want it done by the end of November. We are not going to be working on it full time just some evenings and weekends. I don't have a garage or a driveway so another mate has agreed to let us use his back garden which is good. I've been having a little think and am not to sure if it worth taking the engine and gearbox out to do it or keep the engine in. I will not be messing about with the bottom end. I do want to change the cams and will also need to put in the spacer plate. Should I rea

If anyone is up for going get in touch as it would be nice to drive down with a few other people in their cars. I have some dates in mind and a hotel already booked although I can change my booking up until a month before so am sort of flexible.
