Hi guys , I took my vr6 head apart and took out the valve springs, I did not intend to use them again but recently ive had money and work problems, would it be okay to use the stock springs for my turbo build but obviously the springs are all jumbled up and was wondering if I can re use them in any order as I dont know which was for which valve. thanks in advance

Hi guys, Im Jake im from Swansea and Im 20. I know its a little late to be posting here but better late than never I suppose! I started out having a corsa as my 1st car and god alive I had about 40000 problems so moved onto a 2.0L Passat and while driving through an industrial estate near me, what sounded like thunder was a silver MK3 golf and as you've guessed it, It was a VR6 and ever since that point I fell in love and set out to get one myself, I ended up buying a shitty little dragon green VR6 with barely anything working and restored it over about a year to working order and now I'm ho

Just after a little bit more air flow thats all, Ive been looking at some posts etc and someone said that if you have more than 2mm altogether when having oversized valves the seats can clash so Im not sure really what I should do
-
Any OBD2 engines for sale out there ?
-
Bump , Still looking for an OBD2 Engine
-
Im rebuilding an engine for a turbo build and was looking into oversized valves, theres a set of incolnel exhaust valves with an oversize of 1.8mm , is that too big or is that okay, new to this stuff so not really sure

-
Best place to get the turbo? straight from garret or any tuning firms that stock them ?
-
Is the Garret gt3582r good ? I was following one of the turbo builds on a corrado and he upgraded to that and said it was brilliant, Thank you for any info and advice as I am obviously a newbie but looking to try and get my head around everything I can !

Hi guys, soon I will be starting my turbo build and I would like to hear any comments on what parts you guys suggest from experience, Its going to be a 3k+ build because It will be a year + project, Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, First thing I have to do is source an engine and freshen it up with new piston rings valve stem seals etc etc and give it a good ol' rebuild and do as much of the turbo work I can out of the engine because i am currently still using my car so cant be building on my daily! As soon as Ive gotten an engine I will be posting whenever I can over

Hi guys, I'm saving up to get my timing chain done and while I was at it was thinking of upgrading the cams , what else should I get fitted while im at it seeing as the chain will be done and cams will be quite accessible , things like lifters etc what should I do while im at it?

Where's the best place I can look for a good stainless exhaust header for my vr6 ?
-
Well, Ive fitted 2 patterned wings, right and left and the right one is perfect, the left one has a slight gap between the bonnet but that's all, other than that they went on easy , which surprised me!

And I know how it feels bealie, I told the missus I'd pick her up at half 7 , I was still looking for this god damn screw at half 8 she wasn't too pleased at the least
-
They sell those two large flat head screws that screw into the manifold at the bottom ? Sweet I'll go to the dealers later, cheers
-
Ive got a new intake manifold off someone but the 2 small screws that screw into the manifold for the HT lead cover didnt come with it, I took them off my old one and ended up dropping on of them into the engine bay and I spent almost an hour searching for it and couldnt find it :/ are there any way of getting them from anywhere, just the screw itself?
