I'm here in America these motors are hard to come by here I'm not sure about other countries. I recently bought high mileage R32 mk4 and desperately want to swap out for a younger engine. If anyone knows anybody please put the word out. My name is jessica jess29wag13@gmail.com

So my latest project is a mark 4 R32. At one point it was garage kept and someone loved this car I can tell by the work that has been done and the immaculate shape of interior and exterior. However the 19 year old boy I bought it from did not love this car like an enthusiast would. He put crazy miles on it and did not take care of it. I knew the car had problems when I bought it but the price was too good to pass up for an R32. Fault codes present P0018 and P0016. Runs good for the most part. No noise smoke or visible trouble. Changed the oil yesterday and attached to the magnet on the plug wa

Ecu was the problem. My car runs like a brand new car. Edu wasnt sending signal to o2 sensors. Problem solved

So I'm swapping ecus seeing if that works. Checked the wiring. Seems ok. There is no signal coming from the ecu to my o2 sensors is what I've discovered

2003 gti vr6 so aside from the key issue is there anything else involved and if I have the pin I wonder can my keys be programmed. My husband is against immobilizer delete for some reason he thinks it means anyone can get in my car is this true?

I'm swapping ecus long story but the part number from the new/used one matches mine same engine same year. It appears to be made only a couple hundred after mine. The guy I bought it from has the pin code too so... Does it still need to be programmed? And keys coded ? I don't have to immobilizer delete if I have the pin do I? I don't want someone with vagcom to rip me off just because I don't know what is involved. Thanks Jessica

I have a 2003 gti vr6 with a ghost no one can figure out. Not the dealer or various local vw experts. I don't want to give up on my car. Only fault is rear 02 and the mil stays on for that no matter how many different sensors I try. Car runs ok when cold. When hot hard starts warms stalls and runs like shit like she's dying. Barely goes. Pedal to the floor nothing, then she will kick in out of nowhere . dealer said it was maf. I have 4 sensors in a month. I notice change immediately but as soon as car adjusts to new sensor back to old ways. On a scanner my numbers look great. Nobody spends eno

This May be a stupid question but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why my car looses power when it's hot . or warms up. My car 2003 gti vr6, she likes it cold. Once she warms up 190 f ish she don't wana go. I have a broken radiator fan-the big one -I'm fixing very soon. She doesn't overheat or anything yet. A common issue with my car is hot restart issues and it's related to the edu ..ecu damn auto correct. I'm getting a tune shortly and hope to fix that problem but I was wondering since my fan is broken is it keeping the ecu hot among other things? Therfore I have no power cuz eve
