    Yeah I know :/ but thank you ive gone through the options extensively and opted for a respray but it keeps reacting to the primer we had to take the door down to metal aswell :/ basically having a full job done atm :/ tho just the side :-/ was meant to have the boot done too but they don't have the time now till sometime next week

    Nice [emoji108] I like that very much Have you de locked it all round ? I can't quite do my boot like that yet as fob is a tad intermittent and had to unlock the boot climb in through the car to unlock it when the battery went flat

    The person doing it atm is doing a nice job on it but there's a lot more to do before she's show ready :/ And yes I know it does but it's easier than I full respray plus it's scratch proof to an extent , thought it would be the better option (spesh with the special folk round here)

    Thinking next year ('15) to get it plasti dipped - the crap that was on there reacted so badly to new paint it needed to be taken right down to the metal and now my rear bumper is all chipped and looking scabby Plus who ever sprayed the front bumper got moisture in the paint and it's a little bubbly :/ I know with plasti dip it's non reactive so with a smooth case will sit flush either that or wrap :/ ? Next year will get this baby perfect

    Also mines not a flip key it's just a fob and key with another key for the boot (I need the fob to work at all times as the car is de-locked - which was a good idea at the time lol)

    No mk3 vr6 And ok obviously I'm going to be sat in it lol but thank you I'll give it a go and see what happens I'll do it when it comes back from the paint shop And thank you for the info about the flip key one (as other half has the mk4 gti and if it ever happens that we replace his battery we know what to do ) [emoji108][emoji106]

    Hi I recently put a new battery on the car and the key fob is being intermittent , I thought battery on the fob ? Went to a shop they said the fob has really strong signal and I need to reset the fob to the car ? How do I do this please ? Is it through putting the key in ignition and press the alarm button x mount of times ? If so how many times or what not ? (Give me an engine and I'll happily play all day , talk electrics and my brain shuts down) lol Tia, Kelly x

    I have a vr6 and my other half loves it , he's just purchased a mk4 gti , he wouldn't ever dream of having ago at me over a car (tho maybe I do have a little moan when he buys too many parts for his when he was meant to be searching for some for mine [emoji14]) Up till last week I had two cars and a motorbike and himself one car , now we have one car each and I still have my zx6r - which caused havoc with parking as we live in one of eight flats with private parking The only rows we have is whose car to take out , or whose to work on first , Point being she should support your passion OR l

    This is his 5th car this year :/ so he's on a car buying ban till after May I'm not sure I want him to have a vr :/ as he'd buy stuff for mine and end up putting it on his :/ Tho he has just bought me a new dash and is getting it flocked for me for xmas [emoji7]
