Wiring problems after dash removal

Battery is the first thing I always do.. I found the problem this morning it was a loose plug in the back of the stalk assembly -
Problem was a combination of blocked roof drains and the scuttle being damaged managed to keep it nice and dry now thanks all for the suggestions...onto the next jobs lol

Morning all...I have just under taken a heater matrix replacement ( never again i might add !! ) and got everything fitted back where it came from and surprisingly enough with no bolts / screws left over, my only issue is now i have no indicators ( hazards work fine ) no washer ( wipers work fine ) and the mfa doesnt work either does anyone have any ideas what could be at fault ?

Thanks for the pics Big J. i found the " little dicks " straight away after the pics and gave them a squeeze to find there was black bits sortta ozzing out so have put a thin welding wire up and had a bit of crap out from them both tomorrow going to give them a flush and see how the carpet does after drying them all day today

have you noticed a drop in coolant levels? does the ac still work ok ? is it smoking under the bonnet?

Floor is in perfect condition no rust by any grommets...checked inside the doors this morning and no " rubber dicks " jumped out at me..maybe a opening myself to silly answer question lol but how big are they..are they quite obvious ?

i'm sorry if this is a bit of a repost, but i am suffering from a wet carpet on the passenger side, i've currently got no heater matrix in the car ( had a hole in it when bought and previous owner bypassed all the matrix pipes in engine bay ) so it cant be coming from that, ive checked the door and sunroof seals which look in pretty good condition. are there any other ideas to where it could be coming from?

Afternoon all Took my motor for a bit of a run today and managed 120 miles to a 1/4 of a tank £20 @ 1.17 per litre ...does that sound right /good ? Not really sure what to expect in mpg altho I know not going to be 30+ range
