As above, fronts only. Must be free from any scrapes and the fixing holes must be good as well. Closer to Kettering would be great otherwise postage will be needed. Long shot, 1.8 SPI fuel pump needed for a Cabriolet, AAM engine code. Many thanks

This is a great effort, can't wait to see more updates and the finished article.

How to wire up remote boot button on US spec console
Bluemotech replied to ssaunders's topic in Interior
I've had a quick look into this and i'm fortunate to have a Bentley manual as it gives you a wiring diagram. There is a control unit that resides in the tailgate that activates when you press the button. I'd hazard a guess that it would be simple enough to mount some sort of solenoid in the tailgate to mimic the control unit to pop the lock. Although a nice little touch from in the vehicle to just 'pop' the boot, it almost seems pointless TBH as you still have to physically lift the tailgate open. I'd consider it if I had the parts to do it. -

Love these Passats, I used to have a B3 GT VR6 which is essentially the same vehicle with changed panels. Lovely roomy vehicle and i'd imagine you would have a few electric toys? Great sleeper cars as well. Did these VR6 models not have the red/smoked/red tail lights on them?

Ha ha, no VR6 lumps will not be heading for this engine bay. There weren't many 16V Anniversary Golfs compared to 8 valve models. Other plans are to tidy up, replace wings etc. just keep it original looking.

Long shot but i'm after a standard 16V exhaust silencer, P/N 1H6253609AG. This is the version with the shiny exhaust tip trims that ever so slight point towards the floor. A good quality used one or NOS is required.

Thanks guys. Ickyketseddie, whereabouts in the Shire are you from? I'm in Desborough. A few months after I purchased the Anniversary once sensible suspension was installed. Changed the black painted Anniversary wheels and managed to get hold of some decent ones in silver. And this is how it currently looks. I have further work to complete on the ABS ECU and bleed the brakes, paint the headlight surrounds, change the exhaust to a standard one. I NEED A STANDARD 16V rear silencer! And for the VR6 fans, a couple of the Passat I used to own. I loved the sound of it, just not the

Hello all, I have signed up to try and find out more about Mk3 Golfs. I have to admit that I don't have a VR6 but a 16V Anniversary instead. Time to browse the forums looking for bits and pieces to give me some ideas. I'm no stranger to VWs having owned various over the years including a Jetta GTI and also, a B3 Passat GT VR6 (LHD). Apart from the Anniversary I also have a low mileage Mk2 Golf GTI. Best Regards Simon.
