Thanks Steve. I found a replacement PCV valve so will fit that sometime this week. I will post a picture of where the leak is coming from - but pretty sure its the radiator. The spray of water fires out the front between the grill. Might be a silly question, but why does it need to be an old laptop? I think I am going to take it down to the garage that does my MOTs and ask them to give it a once over. I have read in other places that it could be bearing related. Thanks guys - Car has been somewhat of a nightmare so far. Took it the garage and on the way, I noticed water firing out of the front of the car (When I mean firing I mean firing. It probably flew 3/4 metres in front of the car). Pulled over, and it seemed to be coming from the top of the radiator. Hi all. I have just purchased my first VR6. I have owned numerous mk3 gti's in the past but could never find a vr6 in good condition and at a sensible price. I purchased one yesterday and found a VR6 owners club welcome letter in the service book. The car was from London originally (Roehampton) but I purchased it in Leicester. I was wondering whether the car was known to anyone or if the previous owner could share some details. Seems to be a good runner but needs some work.
