    Ill take the stork if mk3 highline doesnt resond. Is it the same wiring as a 1.8 or is there a different loom i need?

    nope i cant ive got a stainless steel exhaust and gonna be getting a stainless steel manifold. Will be a while.

    Nice work Im currently stripping the ancillaries off the engine and cleaning it to paint. I will not be stripping the engine completely as that is past my knowledge and i don't want to f**k it up. I have put rags in the holes of the inlet, exhaust, oil breather and such. Will it be ok to jet wash if i don't aim at the rags. If if not any idea how i can jet wash the engine after scrubbing and degreasing?

    Update I have sorted through the loom and have had to cut parts from my old loom and put the two together. I have also started stripping the vr6 engine to clean and repaint and replace parts and sensors and rebuild

    The New Heart has arrived Sadly i am missing parts that i requested from the person i brought the engine off of Update in the next few days Removed to clean and check inside.

    Sounded beastly with no exhaust. Im thinking of getting some pipe and making a decat side exit exhaust and fit it to my standard manifold when i get my stainless one.

    Starting to get there but lots of work to do still.

    A Few weeks has passed and i have continued work on the cabrio again. I am stripping the car inside completly and going to be smoothing the bay and painting it. I will be continuing the cleaning and painting of the bay tomorrow and will be fitting the engine next weekend Progress of today so far.
