Take the plunge. Although, it is a bit pricy. My 96 MK3 is show quality, lives in a gargage, does not drive in the rain or wet and I value it only slightly more than the one you are looking at. Tough call but still think unthrashed low mileage is worth the plunge. Make em a cheaky offer.

Hi Jon I have a stunning golf vr6 high line. I have 5 cars and need to reduce my costs!! It is a 96 on a p plate. It is show quality and the previous owner showed it and it often came second in its class. It is totally original, in black, around 97k. It lives in a garage, has not been driven in rain for 8 years. It is ready to show. Only ranges are alloys and air filter, but the original air filter is in thboot for shows. It may not be of interest as it is a show car rather than a daily driver and the price will reflect that. If you are interested I can send photos. You won't be disappointed.
