  1. the engine cooler itself is the same, the cap is interchangeable metal for plastic, vise versa.

Long story short, I've recently discovered that the second stage on my cooling fans is no longer functioning. applying 12 volts directly to the 4 pin connection on the back of the fan motor I can only activate low (stage 1) and high speed (stage 3). The Bentley says the front clip has to come off, which is easy enough, but I'm curious if it's possible without removing the front end.
  3. I was under the impression all 12v VR6's had an all metal dipstick tube? Both mine do, one has 2/95 production date the other a 10/97 production date.
  4. fans turning on? is the drive belt between the two blades intact?
  5. I bet they'd have it to you within 7 business days. anytime I've shipped to Europe from the USA it has only taken a week at most.
  6. gruvenparts.com in the USA makes billet engine bits for VR6. pretty sure they have a billet dipstick.
  7. My Bentley manual says 5.8 quarts for VR6. i have two VR6 cars and they both take 5.8 quarts right on the money.
  8. I have been trying to find a definitive answer before I buy parts I may not need. I suspect the fan control module and my auxiliary water pump is shot. the auxiliary coolant pump is supposed to turn on when ignition is turned "on" as well as run 10 minutes after the car is turned off. my aux pump does not come on, ever. When I jump it directly to the battery nothing happens, leading me to think the pump is not working. Am I wrong? following the Bentleys instructions on jumping the pins on the yellow coolant temperature sensor connector the fans as well as the auxiliary water pump should com
