    Right guys quick update: nothing has changed from last time lol The car is sorn and is in the garage to hibernate. It doesn't make sense driving the car in this weather, the underbody is immaculate I have brand new coilovers exhaust bushings etc done so the last thing I want is water or salt touching the body. I never drive it when it's wet with the idea of preserving it. I think the plans for next year are take it back to stock and somewhat restore it. So a list of things wanting to do will be: 1.     right guys just a quick update about the mobile wrapping service i wanted to start, has officially started. no website as of yet only word of mouth, but a website will be coming as well as an instagram. few details about it: the mobile service is within a 20 mile radius to leeds anything outside this will incur an extra charge the only request from a customer is electric for my heat gun prices start from £110 for gloss black roofs - the cost is determined on size and colour and effect of the wrap i.e. matte black, carbon fibre, satin black, brushed aluminium

    thanks a lot mate yeh i know about the courses but i think ill do tha once i have my own unit and start wrapping full cars but for now im going to start of quite small. i do agree though shiny cars cannot be beaten lol i just did this for the time being

    thanks for the comments guys @Marneus thanks and i did it myself, ive wrapped a few cars for my mates but only mates as i dont have anywhere for the public as yet... im hoping to start a mobile wrapping company but for small jobs like roofs wing mirros diffusers grills etc and work my way up to garage and full cars. all the work you see was done by me apart from the window tints. but i only wrapped the VR as like you i sorted the rust out and want to save to respray it, so just had some spare vinyl laying around.

    hi guys so im Carter from leeds, i have owned 4 mk3 vr6's.. the first being a black 3 door the second a red 3 door as you may have seen on youtube the third a dragon green 5 door and forth a rear grey 3 door highline, as well as many other cars but always kept going back for more with the VR's, i guess it was a car that was cheap and fun and you got a lot of bang for your buck, as the saying goes... the 3 main things that attracted me the most was 1. price 2. the noise and 3. shape... however being younger i bought them had fun in them and sold them for quick few pennies and that was tha

    hi guys need some help put a new stereo in eveyrthing was fine been tested and playing while i work on the car however one day it just cut out no power at all. checked the stereo fuse its working and even tried the stereo in another one of mine cars and it works perfect. checked number 22 radio fuse and thats ok swapped with a fuse which is working and still no power to the stereo or cigarette lighter which is both linked. any ideas on what to do and check next? thanks in advanced

    Thanks guys. I've installed the 4 inch pioneer dash 2 ways and the rear quarter pioneer 6.5 2 ways and I've spliced the original tweeters into the 2ways. the sound is very clear but very high now as technically I'm running 6 tweeters, so need to order some 6.5 door mids so I can equal out the hi's and mid's and the subwoofer has the low. The reason I put the 2 way 6.5 in the rear quarter cards was because the sound needs to be equal. What I mean is the subwoofer is in boot behind but the sound is low so to add some mids and highs I put the 2 ways behind me as well to accompany the

    Tbh mate you could do everything at home it's really easy and there's a million or so guides/diy to help you. Ive replaced an engine with just a pieace of wood and a jack and 3 people to lift on and off lol

    Hi guys as per title really... Has anyone done all the speakers and noticed a differnece compared to stock... I have a sub and new headunit installed so just needing info on the speaker upgrades... i have a mk3 3 door vr6 and so far I've replaced the 2 dash tweeters with 2 way 4 inch and I've replaced the door cards with 2 way 6.5 all pioneer, just wondering is there any need to do the rear quarters with a set of 2 way 6.5 as well to match the door cards or leave them stock?

    Tbh mate I think the vr's lack In 3 places suspension exhaust and gearstick. Ive done the other 2 on my previous 4 but never the short shifter which was always lacking. The throw lenght is immense compared to my s3 8p and leon 1.8t and even my little brothers Ibiza 1.2 has a shorter oem shift, but I guess it's the luxary side of things the car was built for in the first place. But you do notice it coming from other cars, but like you said I will probably get used to it because it feels like the others now, especially the shortening of the shaft.

    Yeh I know mate I mentioned that at the start, sorry if it wasn't clear. So I've shortened the shaft on the short shifter from @besters and there's a lot less throw than original shaft lenght

    Thanks mate all done now lol I just went for it and I just put a damp cloth underneath so when the filings fell it didn't blow away just soaked into the cloth, so removal Was easy. I ended up cutting 2 inches exact off as read on few other forums and it's perfect because the aftermarket gear knob sits 1 inch over the existing lentght, so a total of 3 inch drop in height. Havnt ant driven it yet but does look and feel nice and it feels a hell of a lot shorter and the throw matched with the short shifter is now a lot shorter and feels excellent. Just need t

    Hi guys just wanted to know if anyone has cut the length of the gear stick down and what's it like And any issues or precautions needing to bare in mind ?? ive installed the custom short shifter from besters on here but I think shortening the gear stick it self would accommodate the short shifter well....

    hi guys i have the front heated seats and full door cards in leather black for a 5 door. i only needed the rear seats but the seller wouldn't split the seats so just gt the front and door cards for sale in good condition only rip is the passenger side seat headrest as pictured apart from that nothing else wrong and needs no work. cash on collection from leeds only no postage or courier £150 ono thanks for looking
