they look too tasty for my simple project sorry tbh i only want to spend about £200 max not trying to go over board on the costs especially when ive nearly spent a £1000 on parts already and i still havnt finished buying things lol things add up quite quickly i must say, full exhaust system coilovers morette headlights powder cotd wheels and spacers air intake needed, sounds like a few parts but it adds up

ngk platinum plugs are recommended as a good quality better than oem plug, however the upgrade to that is the iridium plugs you already have. i have always used platinum plugs but iridium when tuning i.e. remapping

ok thanks so is it easy to get to the top and bottom bolts then or does anything need to be removed to access them?

hi guys as the title realy any tips or how to's to remove the exhaust manifold? want to put a 6-2-1 on. wil have a look myself but just wanted to see if anyone had any tips before i started just so i know what to expect. thanks

hey guys so quick update started the vr6 today for the first time since i purchased it, and with the help of some jump leads it started up first time very clean and smooth no issues at all which i was pleasantly surprised and shocked, because was expecting something negative but nope 4 months it has been sat for plus i think 3 weeks with the previous owner so 5 months and no issues on the first startup. the reason for starting it up is i took it for mot and it actually passed just rear number plate light which was changed there and then and discs are getting rusty but these will get changed

as per title wanting leather seats for a 3 door..... with or without leather door cards im in leeds so dont want to be travelling to far thanks

yeh i think if its a home diy then ill probably look into it next year, as i know my vr6 needs a lot a maintenence work, i.e servicing fluid changes brakes suspension bushes anything mechanical, just basically make sure the car is restored mechanically, then the bigger stuff timing chain and cams at the same time as i believe the clutch was replaced couple years back.

is it hard to DIY supercharge a vr6? i know my way around with instructions but just wouldnt know where to start from parts to fitment if not guided.

well ive had like 5 vr6's but never kept them for longer than 6months did the quick coilovers making it shiny full exhaust but never really put any time into one so hopefully going to keep this one and try make it my last and make it my own as certain things were always done to the ones ive always one. also there becoming very rare arnt they so uno not bad of a fun investment

im planning too but since i purchased the car of a forum member in august ive driven straight back and into storage havnt even looked at it since. but once i start anything a build thread will be started

hahahaha but yeh the weight for me makes the most sense for the power to weight. ive searched for ages but cant really find a difinitive answer about people actually weight lost and whats been removed because like you said and many others have added back in things that cancels out the max weight loss lol. luckily for me ive got a mate with a weighing in scale so when i start my project ill weight it before any work then after. would be really interesting tbh because im looking to do a full exhaust incuding 6branch full interior strip apart from 2 front seats, een door cards like yours but

hi mate what part did you use in the headlight? on my previous vr's ive just ran a air duct from the fog light area which did work but the pipeing used was really small in order to clear the fan belt. yours is perfect as i wouldnt have any clearing issues and can use a bigger diameter pipeing for more air and looks oem and is of course very practical!!!!

hi quick update, dont know if any of you noticed ebay had a birthday and they gave everyone 20% off so i decided right time to get some things i needed at a very cheap price, so fk ak coilovers got them for £124 brand new from dpm ebay as they already had theres discounted at £155 compared to others at £160 for jom and i think £170 for fk ak. i then got the direnza exhuast for same price give or take couple quid, which was perfect as i had that exhaust previously not fiited by me but previous owner but was perfect for performance, but i will be cutting off the oval slash jap cut tip and usin

yeh ino mate ive seen them but thats my last resort to buy them from that seller. and i havnt really checked to see if the strip end cap is missing, that would be a bit poopy if it was lol

as above really need both passenger and drivers side end caps so 2 pairs in total need posted to leeds if possible
