  1. The seller will get back to me. I am handy with a few tools but not a mechanic by any means, so if it's a service I can change plugs, leads and filters. Anything else is down to the mechanic. There were a few other bits that required attention, exhaust, door locks, brakes, sunroof, etc. there's someone else going to look at it today, so he may be less put off than me. But I'll keep looking!
  2. Hi all, I test drove a Corrado VR6 today and it felt low on power. I checked all the hoses before and after the drive. The engine seemed to rev freely, but it didn't seem to transfer that power to the wheels. It was only after it had warmed up a bit that it seemed to respond but it still felt like it was holding back. I used to have a GTV V6, and currently drive a 2.0 Forester XT and that seemed much quicker. Does this sound right or is something amiss?
  3. Hi there. After getting rid of my Alfa GTV's Twinny and V6 I decided to try another V6 engine. I heard the Corrado was the one to go for, so I had a look at and drive 2 cars. The first one seemed to lack power and I thought, "this can't be right, it's supposed to be quick off the mark", so I walked away. The second one I tried was a peach, but I missed out on the sale. Since trying that one I've been hooked on getting one as a second car for the garage. My budget is only £2000 so I'm not expecting an absolute minter, but a full mot and no engine and electrical problems would be really good.
