Car is traveling up to Leeds today and will be located there until it is sold*** Hi guys, A dalliance but an enjoyable one none the less, I've finally found a Lancia Delta (searching for years) so that means the Golf is up for sale. Really enjoyed driving this the past couple of months, had a lovely drive up to Leeds and back at Christmas. For sale: Mk3 Tornado Red Golf VR6 OBD1 3 Door. 112,000 miles on the clock. MOT till 27th May 2016. Paintwork suggests its had a respray at some point in it's life. Tailgate has faded but rest of the car is lovely. Chains don

    My tailgate is faded and was wondering if anyone had a good condition tornado red one knocking about? Are all tailgates the same?

    It seems there are two types of rocker cover gasket, my VR6 is a 1995. Do Euros or GSF sell the right gasket as I'm nowhere near a dealer. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks Adam

    Not that I'm aware of. Other than a quick wash and polish I've barely had time to look at it. It's only when the engine is switched off it makes the noise and it lasts about half a second Adam

    Is this normal? Sounds a bit like a central locking motor but not quite sure why it would be activated on engine off...

    Hey, The info on the dash display can occasionally be a bit 'broken up'. Is this common? Easy fix?
