Hi peeps, how did it go?? I am a body man and to me that would of been a way bigger hole by the time he had prepped the are for the new metalbum to go in. The only way to KILL rust is to, either cut it out an inch further back from the rust;or get it acid dipped/media blasted. Rust is a cancer of the metal. The metal that is replaced should be a part of a new panel or sheet that has been elecroplated; not a sheet of bare tin!!! This is because the sheet metal has been standing in a cold work shop exposed to the atmosphere. So your basically putting an infected part back in for it to

Hi guys.. so keeping air as cold as possible through in intake is key to power right!!! But also the volume of air that the blower has access to?? Have you seen the new sabte engine on the skylon space plane?? ⤵I'm quite the tech head and think about designs and inventions. And I reckon I could retrofit the same principle even with the limited space we have to work with. If you look on skylon' s website there's more info. I am in the process of drawing a schematic -

My theory behind this is to keep efficiency of air transfer between the blower and cooler as high as possible. Or am I speaking shite!!! ? -
Hi peeps, so.. just to make the supercharged vr6 go a little faster I was thinking about NO's. But undecided whether to inject direct into the bore or through the blower, Also what is best for the engine wet or dry??

Hi Pete, Thanks for the post, question, what do you mean by OEM+? and I understand that I will never get all monies back if I go balls out. I don't particularly need it to be practical It just needs to be FAST!!! I'm not going to put some ordacious mad arch body kit on it. Styling with finesse is the path I was thinking.. But I am thinking about controlled coil over airbag suspension though -

How's it.... I've had my vr since 2006 and it's the car I've always wanted since their release drove my first one at 18, feel in love right away. That noise... yummy!!! She hasn't been driven since about.... 5 or 6 years ?. I turn her over now and again and she start first turn every time. I am now 38 going on 28 and have decided not to buy a new golf R but instead plough the same money into my baby. I am still undecided between OEM resto or a balls out custom inside and out? Both will be bare metal refits. Any Opinion is welcome.

Hi everyone, Just joined two reasons 1. To find other vr owners and 2. To gain knowledge and help on rebuilding my baby. She is p registered chassis with a AAA engine code,a/c, sunroof, mfa, cloth interior in mystic blue. I think I would prefer a s/c over a turbo!! I am a vehicle body tech with 20yrs in the trade.

Hi, just wondering, could you make a 3.0 v6 s4 or alike compressor fit or are they meant for a dual block v6's??. Or alternatively use a straight ported ( I think that's right) side mounted compressor with a bit of fab
