So I took the eCU from the donor car and placed it into the project car The bigger connecter cannot fit into the manual ECU. of course this is the original harness the automatic one, is it possible for me to break off that piece so it would fit into the connecter or does this mean I have to change harnesses sorry if I sound very stupid but it looks like it could be done because the other connecter from the donor car looks exact same as the automatic one just has two different adaptors -

Yes sir I do but can I keep the auto harness and plug the Manuel ecu and cluster with no problems ? -

ive been looking at the threads before posting this and I cant find the answer I recently purchased a 2000 mk4 jetta vr6 its very clean but one problem its automatic. yes I know its cheaper too buy one that already Manuel but I want to have some fun!. my question is. if I were to replace the auto ecu with a Manuel ecu with the matching cluster would I still have to do additional wiring. please help! if I do please tell what I would have to do.
