Does the rpm kick off when it clicks? Im having the same clicming in the dash but un aware of this relay

Well i got my passat with a vr6 and it started up,ran fine so i went in the house for it too warm up and its got magna flow exhaust so i can hear it in the house,so anyways about 15 mins of run time i heard the idle kick right down and it started surging so i ran out and tried keeping it alive with the throttle and it stayed running but wouldnt rev up just kept skipping and farting so i let it die on its own and tried restarting it but the battery was dead??.... so i got a boost day after and it fired right up and would idle fine but back fire with any bit of throttle and the rpm gauge kicks o

Alright awsome!! Good thing ive already had my throttle body off too clean it and it looks exactly like obd2. So now that we figured that out what do you think my best bet would be,ive already cleaned the throttle body cuz my car would just die after letting of the throttle, i performed that clean and idled fantastic since,im just dealing with this backfiring crap

Well my title says 96 but on my door it says 95 so im pretty confused and ill try to upload a pic of my motor so maybe you can tell if its obd1 or 2 im gonna assume its obd2,btw whats a TB adaptation?

Alright im not sure how to check if its obd1 or obd2 which is another one of my questions about this thing but anyways im not quite sure how to check the TPS do i just plug in a scan tool and read codes or what? Or could i just unplug it and see if it runs better...also i live up here in maine and it hasnt ever really ran that great when its cold and it was about 13 degrees out when this started happening, not sure if that effects anything but more info the better response

Alright guys i need some serious help with this car, I've had it for about a year now and in the past year I've put 262 cams, a chip and plugs,wires,cold air intake Magna flow exhaust with a punched catalytic converter and its been such a great car but everytime i want too accelerate hard it spots and pops they the intake but doesn't die,idles beautiful and revs up smooth when going slow

Do i have too replace any TB gaskets if i take it off? Or replace anything while i have the TB off?

So i have this same issue, car dies when letting off throttle so im going to perform this TB clean but is there anything i should replace while its off like any gaskets?
