Buy a cable from rosstech, use a laptop. Stop wasting money going to a shop, learn your car and take care of your wallet on the long run. I debated with it for almost two years, figured I could get by with a foxwell scanner. Long story short, I got so fed up dumping money into my car, I bought the vcds cable and found a conclusive solution to my problem...wouldn't have dumped over 10k at the car, would've been a $2,800 bite the bullet fix for two parts instead ~30 parts.
