While driving my 99 12v Golf last night, I had the cruise control set and I noticed the RPM just drop, then pick back up, drop again and then the car cut out. Now it will crank, but seems to have no spark. I'm thinking it's something stupid like a sensor. The car has about 220k on it and I've not had any problems before this. Any ideas?
